They take great pride in sponsoring both senior and junior sporting clubs, providing funds for much needed medical equipment and supporting organisations such as Legacy, The Lions and the Capricorn Rescue Helicopter.

They also support foundations such as the Fred Hollows Organisation, UN charities and The Leukaemia Foundation on an ongoing basis. In the last 18 months, Coal Train and Undamine have sponsored over 40 different non-profit organisations, to a value in excess of $198,000.

In addition to supporting charities financially, Undamine CEO Karla McPhail strongly fosters corporate responsibility amongst her workforce. Leading by example, Karla is a tireless volunteer at many community events, often MCs fundraisers, acts as an auctioneer, speaks at schools and at forums such as the Queensland Mining Expo: Women in Mining panel and Mining Women Support Group evenings. Karla also encourages non-profit organisations to use the Undamine facility at no cost.
